We handle the entire setup and breakdown, leaving you free to fish by moonlight, soak in the saltwater jacuzzi, or simply listen to the ocean. This isn’t just a night away—it’s a journey into the heart of Aruban culture.

    Arrival & Accommodations

    • The Journey: Your escape begins with a boat transfer. Choose between our vintage Aruban wooden boat for a classic feel or our modern fiberglass vessel for a quick, smooth ride.
    • Ready-Made Campsite: No heavy lifting required. Your weather-protected tent—complete with fresh linens and your choice of cots, hammocks, or air mattresses —will be fully prepared and waiting for your arrival.

    Island Amenities & Gear

    • Full Access: Enjoy exclusive use of our snorkeling gear, hammocks, and private saltwater jacuzzi.
    • Comfort Essentials: Our island features a dedicated bathroom and washroom facility for your convenience.
    • Stocked Cooler: We provide a cooler with ice, fresh water, and a selection of local beverages to keep you refreshed under the sun and stars.

    The "Silent Island" Experience

    At Salty Reef Life, we believe in a low-impact, sustainable approach to tourism.

    • 10:00 PM Transition: To let the mechanical hum of the world fade away, our main generator is switched off at 10:00 PM. This allows the natural sounds of the reef to take center stage.
    • Natural Glow: Once the generator rests, the island transitions to solar-powered lighting. We supplement the moonlight with portable lanterns provided for your comfort.
    • True Off-Grid Solitude: From 10:00 PM until dawn, you are truly off the grid. It is a rare opportunity to disconnect from technology and witness the Caribbean in its most untouched, authentic state.

        • Please be aware that the boat ride may be a bit bumpy, and there is a possibility you could be splashed with seawater
        • This is an authentic island experience. While we provide comfort, please remember this is a natural environment. Expect the sea breeze, the sound of the ocean, and a rustic, off-grid atmosphere.

          What to Pack for Your Island Stay

          To ensure you have the most comfortable experience under the stars, we recommend packing a small "island bag" with the following essentials:

          • Footwear: We highly recommend water shoes for easy exploring and comfort around the reef.
          • Clothing: A fresh change of clothes and a light sweater or windbreaker, as the ocean breeze can get quite cool once the sun goes down.
          • Toiletries: Pack your personal essentials and reef-safe sunblock to help us protect our vibrant marine life.
          • Power: Since we transition to a peaceful, off-grid environment at 10:00 PM, bring a portable power bank to keep your phone or camera charged for those sunrise photos.
          • The Essentials: Don't forget your swimwear and, of course, your sense of adventure!
